Regarding your poll, I think you forgot at least a couple people who actually beat you at States. And I'm sure there are others. I'd hate to see people get stiffed in such a tough category.
So, Nov. 12th has come, and Nov. 12th has gone, and you have yet to tell your readers how your quest for a sub-5 mile went. So...how'd it go?
Sean,That's because I postponed the attempt until Nov 24th on the Sisters HS Track. Wanna join me?AJW
Ooooo. I work on the 24th all day, but only 1/2 day on the 25th. So if you do it on the 25th in the afternoon, I could join you. And maybe I could even get an xc kid or two to come out and help.
AJ,Thanks for the props...I'm pretty sure it's "my first time" on such an important poll;) I have beaten a few of the others on the list and I'm looking forward to racing the others in the future...speaking of racing. We missed you in Boise. Met and ran with Neil O. from Ashland area. His runners mocked us as we started they hollered "Hey this is 5k not 50k.." kind of fun though. Good luck with the mile attempt-keep it at 75/lap and get r' done.
